BEFORE THE HUNT Volunteers stuffed and "hid" thousands of eggs for this event. There were even two "GOLDEN" eggs in each age division which were exchanged for special premium prizes for the participants who were lucky enough to find them.

The EMERALD COAST WILDLIFE REFUGE brought a bunny and an owl which had been rescued for all the participants of the Easter Egg Hunt to view, as well as an informative display of some fishing line, etc., which had been removed from a sea turtle and a blue heron. THE HUNT BEGINS Hundreds of children from infants to 12 years of age searched and gathered thousands of plastic Easter Eggs filled with candy and prizes as the Destin Easter Egg hunt begins.
